However, not all partnerships deliver — often down to poor alignment, communication, undefined parameters or conflicting priorities.

So where do you start?

☑️ DO properly vet potential partners — have transparent conversations re capabilities, ethics and vision to ensure alignment. Shared mindset and complementary abilities are key.

☑️ DO define roles, responsibilities and decision authority upfront. Ambiguity invites conflict later. Address tough questions early.

🛑 DON’T neglect communication, even when smooth sailing.

🛑 DON’T underestimate changing direction if things unravel. Articulate ‘plan B’ from the start, just in case.
