House Prices In Surrey Increased By Up To 25% Last Year
After a year of record-high housing prices in the United Kingdom, the trend is expected to continue into 2022, with rents also expected to rise.
Given its closeness to the capital and superior transportation, jobs, and education, Surrey is attracting a large number of investors.
Because of Covid, this trend is speeding up, although it was already underway.
Annual home price rise in Surrey, according to the most recent data:
> House prices in Crowhurst and Newchapel (RH7) increased by over 25%, from £393,000 to £489,250 on average.
> Virginia Water (GU25) was the most expensive postcode, with an average price of £930,000, up from £850,000 the previous year, but closer to the national average of 9.4% growth.
> The cheapest postcode was Ash Vale and Aldershot (GU12), where a typical property costs £340,000, up 6.9% from £318,000.
